Publisher clarifies earlier reports.
Square Enix has denied reports that the Ultimate Hits International edition of Final Fantasy XIII, which will bring the game to Japanese 360s for the first time, features new content.
\"There is no new episode content,\" a Square Enix spokesperson told Eurogamer.
\"Early reports may be confused by a pre-order item accompanying first editions of the release called Final Fantasy XIII: Corridor of Memory, a book of original stories set within Final Fantasy XIII.\"

A chat with the man who wrote the movie.
Nearly 25 years after the movie first appeared in cinemas, the Top Gun phenomenon is still going strong. In fact, a new videogame based on the film is arriving in the PSN Store this very day. There are many reasons for Top Gun\'s enduring popularity. There\'s the amazing soundtrack, the amazing dogfights and the amazing homoerotic subtext, for starters. And then there\'s the script, with its authentic feel and brilliant one-liners. Jack Epps Jr. is the man who wrote that script. He\'s also been working on dialogue for the new Top Gun game, which gave us an excuse to ask him a few questions. Read on to find out why he thinks the game will be good, where he got all those lines from and whether he thinks Zac Efron would make a good Maverick.

A horror game fans \"truly deserve\".
An eighth Silent Hill game will be released next year on PS3 and Xbox 360, Konami has announced.
This is the same game that was revealed at E3. Czech developer Vatra Games will do the honours.
There\'s no major brand-renovation being done. Instead, Konami wants to \"stay true to the franchise\'s roots\" and deliver, as Shinji Hirano (publisher boss) put it, \"A next generation horror game that the fans truly deserve\".

Kawashima\'s involved and everything.
Microsoft has revealed a new Brain Training game by Dr. Kawashima that is being made for Kinect.
Known (for the time being) as Lead: New Brain Training Where You Answer With Your Body, the game will be a launch title for Kinect in Japan, according to Andriasang. The motion-sensing camera launches there on 20th November (10th November in Europe).
Brain Training Kinect poses puzzles to the player and awaits a physical answer. A on-stage demonstration showed a woman translating a 24-hour time by using her arms as the small and long arms of a traditional clock (both of hers were the same length, incidentally). Another mini-game had her popping four numbered balloons in order of lowest to highest.

Noby joby boy.
Katamari creator and loveable crackpot Keita Takahashi has left the employ of Namco Bandai.
The artist and designer\'s departure was confirmed to Play.tm by a spokesperson for the publisher.
According to Play.tm, Takahashi had been making gloomy and disinterested remarks about the future of videogaming in interviews (though this is really nothing new for him). In a recent interview with The Setup, he said: \"I make videogames for the so-so company Namco Bandai Games Inc. I am so inefficient I only made four games in 11 years.\"

Had you remembered that the ideal range for the camera is between five and nine feet away? Were you aware that using Move in a sunny room may not be a good idea? No? You should have a read.

What are you waiting for, Christmas?
According to Jewish law, Duke Nukem Forever would be a man by now. First announced to the public in April 1997, this game has weathered the longest cycle of delays, cancellations, resurrections and cryosleeps, effectively mocking everything we know about game development and the space-time continuum in the process.
Well, the wait is nearly over. While it\'s by no means complete DNF has been seen, heard and played by visitors to this year\'s Penny Arcade Expo.
The story of how this happened is a long and twisted tale. It\'s the story of 3D Realms\' determination to provide the successor to their 1996 hit, Duke Nukem 3D. After numerous delays, 3D Realms went bankrupt in 2009 - and Duke went with it. \"The dream had died,\" lamented Gearbox president Randy Pitchford.

SEGA keeps quiet.
SEGA has refused to comment on an online report that The Conduit developer High Voltage Software is making the Wii version of Captain America: The First Avenger.
Website SEGAbits claims SEGA drafted High Voltage in to make the 2011 movie tie-in because it \"was apparently happy with what they did with Iron Man 2\".
The Wii version of Iron Man 2, which High Voltage created, currently has a Metacritic review score average of 41 out of 100.
